Joanne and the team at The Thatch and Thyme catered our wedding in August 2021, and I can honestly say the entire experience from our initial meeting with Joanne, food options and packages, food on the day and the service was nothing short of perfection.

We still have people comment on the food about how good it was almost a year on!! Joanne was truly exceptional in her delivery of their service considering we still had covid restrictions in place but it never impacted on our experience or what Joanne and her team delivered to our guests.

Top Tip: listen to Joanne! Her suggestions on what she thinks will work for you, your venue, your guests and the vibe your trying to achieve- she knows her stuff, she knows her food. The final decision is yours, but but take her advice on board, we did and don’t regret it one bit balancing crowd pleasers and a fussy groom .

We don’t live locally to The Thatch & Thyme so had no experience of Joanne and the team or their food prior to the wedding and tasting but I can vouch to expect absolute deliciousness and a very attractive plate.

If your thinking of having them as your caterers for your wedding, we cannot recommend them enough we only wish we could do it all again !

Joanne and the staff of Thatch and Thyme catered for our wedding in July 2021 and we were so happy with the whole experience. The service, staff and food were outstanding. Joanne was very helpful when it came to designing a menu and nothing was too much trouble for her. She was very open to our ideas and this allowed us to really personalise what we wanted on the day. Our dessert table was a big hit with all our guests and everyone was blown away by the quality of the food, everything was so tasty and fresh. Joanne made the whole process very relaxed and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Thatch and Thyme and look forward to using their catering service again in the future.

What can I say about Joanne and the dream team from The Thatch and Thyme Joanne came highly recommended to us by our wedding venue, described as an amazing chef who enjoys a challenge. So a challenge we extended to her to cater for a fully vegan wedding for 100 guests. And she absolutely smashed it. From the second we met Joanne we knew we had the right woman for the job and trusted her completely. She was a dream to work with and came up with the most mouthwatering menu of canapes, grazing board, starters, mains and a dessert table. On the day the spread was magnificent there wasn't a crumb leftover of any course and our non vegan guests went back for seconds and thirds. My husband and myself purposefully got different dishes so we could taste everything. Everything was unbelievably delicious and we are still getting compliments from guests about the food. In fact to quote a text I got after the wedding "the food was next level, I'll be dreaming about the curry forever x".

Thank you so much to the Thatch and Thyme ie Joanne. We decided to have an impromptu wedding 2 weeks ago with only 2 weeks to prepare in a Level 5 lockdown and only for our allowed bubble of people, Joanne came to our rescue. Joanne was more than accommodating, giving us a huge choice of food and excellent prices. We knew once we had put in the order at the Thatch and Thyme we no longer had to think about the meal until it arrived to our door on the day of our wedding.The food was exceptional!!!! The portions were enormous!!!! We literally didn't have to cook for 3 days and sent our bubble home with their dinners for the next 2 nights. We cannot recommend Joanne and the Thatch and Thyme highly enough. We and our bubble agreed any future family functions we will be requesting the services of the T&T again. Exquisite.

We cannot thank Joanne and her team enough for everything they did for us both in the lead up to and on our special day. Everything from start to finish was perfect.

When we decided on our venue and realised we could choose our own caterers, Joanne was the first and only person we asked and we are so glad she said yes. As self-proclaimed foodies, excellent food was always going to play a massive part in our day. We previously had had the privilege of enjoying Joanne’s food in the Thatch at both day and night and we knew her style of food and her approach would suit us on our special day.

From our first meeting to the day itself, Joanne was always on hand to both advise us and reassure us on any query we had.

We were so delighted with the food on our day and we think it says a lot that all of our guests commented on the incredible food Joanne and her team produced on the day. Our vegetarian guests said it was the best vegetarian wedding menu they have ever seen or tasted!

From the tantalising canapés to the fabulous 3 course wedding meal to the extremely more-ish late-night bites, it was all faultless.

Not to forget Joanne saving the day and finishing the cake, decorating it at the last minute! She really was an immense support to us throughout the whole process.

We would recommend Joanne and her fantastic team in a heartbeat to cater for a wedding or any event in fact.
